​Probably one of my most loved bands at this time; Only recently started exploring them 2 years ago and have been addicted since. I love how gentle their sound is, incredibly innovative with melodies and rhythm. The moment I fell in love with this band was after listening to their track pyramid song, I was literally brought to tears.

Can definitely refer to the later part of the Beatles career as art rock. Absolutely adore St Peppers, for its time it was definitely a game changer; there use in dynamics and concept characters truly makes the Beatles and unforgettable experience.

​Tool seems to progress quite far in their instrumentation; notably uses polyrhythms and odd time signatures, that accompanied with Maynard Keenan vocalis, the Dialogue of there song lyrics are very evocative and give a good energy; feels somewhat like an aggressive modernize war chant

​I'm not sure if this would be called art rock but its defiantly progressive and alternative; The lead to the band Les Claypool uses really odd melodic patterns and very innovative techniques in using the bass. The music emulates this somewhat acid hillbilly vibe, which gives the band an incredibly unique sound.

​Creating characters like the evil demon Boognish and releasing concept album after another this band are possibly one of the versatile in genre spanning. Albums such as "The Molisk" not only demonstrates itself as incredible concept theming an odd deep-sea caricature depiction, it’s actually responsible for influencing the cartoon "Sponge Bob Square Pants". The writer of the cartoon even went as far as to calling Ween to tell them they had inspired him to write the show.
